Pollen allergy?

From miszisz [Log on to view profile]on 2007-05-31

My 3 year old son is having a running nose for over 6 weeks. I believe it is some kind of allergy. He does not sneeze, but has a small amount of watery discharge all the time. It stops when he lays down to sleep, but start almost he wakes up. There are no other discomforts, as I can tell, he is my little trouble maker!

He is having running nose inside and outside, and not any significant differences.

Could anybody give me suggestion what remedy should I try to relieve him of this symptom?
Thank you for all your help!

Monika

It does not look Pollen Allergy.

It is something to do with Water distribution system.

Suggest give "Natrum Muir. 30"
at 8AM and 6PM

Thanks for your reply, Rajendra. Your answer surprised me a lot! Could it help to give my son different water to drink?

Re: Pollen allergy? From Rajendra [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-01
there is no need of change of water.

narum muir 30 should correct the system.

Hi Rajendra

When you said 'water distribution system' she thought the muncipal water distribution system. : )

You should have said the water distribution mechanism within our body.

Your suggestion of nat.mur is good.

Hi Rajenda, I bought Narum Muir yesterday. Could you please advise me how many pellets should I give to my son?

Re: Pollen allergy? From miszisz [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-05
Murthy,
you absolutly right!
I thought about the municipal water system and not his body water distribution. :-)

Thanks to make it clear to me!

Hi Rajendra,

yesterday was the first day when he got 4 pellets 2 times a day. There was no sign of any changes. Is it early to tell that it works for him?

Thanks for advises!

Does he grinds his teeth while at sleep?

How is his tongue - white coated and if so on which portion - front - middle or back or the whole.

Is it puffy/Flabby or broad ?

Re: Pollen allergy? From miszisz [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-09
Hi Rajendra,

he does not grind his teeth and has a little white at the back on his tongue. There is not puffiness or flabbiness.

Today is a rainy day and his nose almost stopped running.

I noticed the same thing couple of days ago, before he started taking the pellets. On rainy day he does not have rainy nose or little.

Can a give the two kind in the same time? Can I dissolve them in the same water?
How many Nux Vom should I give him ?

Thanks for advice!

Re: Pollen allergy? From Rajendra [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-10
Give separately with 15 minutes interval. (4 Pills at a time is sufficient.)

Re: Pollen allergy? From miszisz [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-13
It looks like NuxVom is working! :-)
Today was a rainy day, my son did not have a running nose, 30 minutes after I gave him the pellets he started rubbing his nose.

Tomorrow we continue with both pellets.

Dear Miszisz

Wet weather amelioration is the peculiarity in your child, and the medicine chosen should cover that aspect.

The remedies that can help a runnung nose, amelioration wet weather, are

Ars,hep,med,nux.v,sabadilla and a few others.

My suggestion is to use only one medicine at a time to observe its response. If you use two medicines together, it is difficult to follow up, as we will be wondering which medicine initially helped, but failed to cure.

The follow up medicines need to be decided on the response to the first medicine, and if you use two medicines together, there is no way to do that.

Re: Pollen allergy? From miszisz [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-19
I am back. There was some rainy days here, when we started taking the NuxVom.
Now it is sunny and nice again, so I can report.
He still rubs his nose once in a while, but no watery discharge since. So it is really working for him.
I give him NuxVom 2x 4 pellets.

How long do I have to give them to him? Can I stop and see how is he doing without it?

Thanks for advice!

Re: Pollen allergy? From Rajendra [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-23

Hi Rajendra,

The NuxVom works just fine so far. I give it to my son once a day, and he has not have any symptoms, little nose rubbing but very few, no discharge at all.

Why do you think I should change the remedy?

Re: Pollen allergy? From Rajendra [Log on to view profile] on 2007-06-24
For symptom of nose rubbing you can give Cina alongwith Nux Vom.
