Rhinitis in 2.5yr old boy

Hi All,

My 2.5yrs. old has been diagnosed with Rhinitis for last 5-6weeks.. well thats is what allopathic doctor said. I will explain his symtoms and anyone of you may be able to help me.
Nose stuffy and blocked.
Can't breath from nose.
Thick Mucous which doesn't come out easily.
Chest is clear.
He is very energetic and aggressive.
He always wants company doesn't want to play by his own.
We are vegetarian.
His diet habbits are okay... he doesn't eat a lot.. he likes sweet more than salty food.
He hasn't gain any weight since last yrs. He is 14.5kilo.

Due to blocked nose he can't sleep well which is distressing.
We live in Sydney and winter is starting now.

Please advise if anyone can help. I don't want to keep him give antibiotics.

Please give him ammmonia Carb-30c ( 3 drops per dose thrice a day) for 2/3 days and come back with changes.
