Hi everyone. Sorry we have to meet under these conditions.
I just came into having ringing or very high pitched hissing in my ears. I was working on some equipment that day and it came on. I really didn't think the noise was that loud because I have worked on the same things a couple times before with no problems and only for a few minutes each time. It's always present and it does fluctuate but not to much. Sometimes the sounds very a bit but are always high pitched noises. When I try to go to bed it's just terrible!! It seems so loud and I really think it does get louder at night. Last night my one ear actually started to hurt. Does anyone out there think this tinnitus will pass or is it forever? And if it may pass how long may it take? My mom had this when she was my age. do you think it's hereditary? I see an e.n.t. this week and will get some answers but second and third and fourth opinion are always good. Do you think the lipoflavinoid will help? What else should I be thinking about - other than blowing my brains out! Any help is greatly appreciated!! My job depends on my hearing and I'm very worried about passing a hearing test. I don't THINK I have lost any hearing because I can hear a wall clock tic in the next room.
Is there any hope?

Start with Lyssin 30 thrice a day for a week then let me know..

Hi Dr. Teneja. I believe that the ringing in my ears is actually from the loud machine I was working on. You typed that I should take Lyssin " thrice " a day for a week. Is that 3 times a day or " twice " a day. Also is this something I can get over the counter and just what is it? Thankyou very much.

Hi again Dr. I have read that this ringing sound may subside over time. How long do you think it may be. I know you can't give me an exact time but what is an average?

I am Mrs. lakshmi Pillai, 39 yrs age. Staying in Mumbai.
, I am suffering from severe kind of allergy due to which I am getting continuous sneezes for the past 26 years.
I am allergic to many things like, sour food, fruits, cold food, change of climate, dust, etc.

This buzzing sound has made my life miserable & disturbing me a lot. I cannot sleep properly. My hearing is also not very clear, there is some percent of deafness also to my ears. I am eating some ayurvedic medicines to control sneezings hence sneezing is little bit under control , but no improvement in buzzing sounds at all
I have tried various treatments like, Allopathy, Ayuervedic, Accupressure, Accupuncture, Reiki, etc. but there is absolutely no improvement in my condition. I am very frustrated with my life. Sometimes I feel death is better than my horrible life.
Pl be kind enough to suggest me suitable medicines to get permanent relief from this nonstop buzzing problem in both ears. i will be highly obliged.
