suffering from IBS.please help
Hi frens,I have been sufferring from IBS from almost six months now. My doctor(allopathic) says IBS is not completely cureable.It can be only controlled. I used to
take homeopathy and it worked wonders for me earlier during jaundice.
My syptoms:
Altered bowel movements, either diarrhoea (mostly) or constipation
Rumbling of abdomen with pain which often urges for passing stool
Pain and urge starts especially after eating and more in the mornings.
Pain will be more especially in the lower abdomen and below left ribcage
I get Relief from pain/rumbling abdomen temporarily after passing stool
Frequent urge with unsatisfied incomplete evacuations
Bloating of abdomen with gas and burning eructations
Passing ribbon like stools often and in worst days extremely loose motions
Unable to eat anything thats on the spicier side.
severe drowsiness sleepiness and laziness.Basically, no drive for anything.
On days when i have severe loose motions i get severe pain at my lower back.
feel very thirsty.
stomach bloated all times..bloating reduces temporarily after motion passed.
I did a stool test done and didn find any parasites like EH etc.Blood test report is normal as per my doctor.
Offlate i have also developed a flab at my lower abdomen since i am not able to do any exercise due to this irritaion.
I am a regular gym visiter earlier

Hi,
I have nux vom 200 in pills form.Do u mean to say i have to dissolve it in water and then drink it?
Or have i to take 5 pills (globules)directly twice a day before meals?

Hi drprodip,
Had some diffivculty in procuring Nux Vomica liquid as i live in remote village working for NGO.
I took Nux vom as prescribed by you for the last ten days.some of the symptoms have improved and some still remain.
now,
bowel movement has improved marginally.diarrohea is not there but slacky stools still persist.
Rumbling in the stomach has reduced.
now in the morning i have to pass stool 2 to 3 times at spaces of ten to 15 mins eat.bowel not getting cleared in one go.Sometimes urge is there trought the day and some times not there an is fine.
drowsines has gone.weakness is there but better than before.
pain below the left ribcage has reduced.
i have noticed that my stomach bloats up as soon as i eat and takes a baloon like shape...i feel best when my stomach is empty
appettite is best for dinner and worst for breakfast.thirst is normal now.have not taken spicy food since last ten days of nux vom
have severe flatulence and burps
overall i feel i am 30% better.
Please suggest what i need to do next.if you want any further details will be glad to provide.

i missed a few more info..
i have burning sensation at anus while motion.motion is accompanied by flatulence.also back pain still active..i am wondering whether it is due to gas problem or bone pain itself.pain is at the extereme lower back more on left side
