The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Dr Andres, Dr Sharma, Dr M ahfooz and other Drs - IBS for a long time, Need a cure

Hi,

Had taken a single dose each of Sulphur 6C and Nux Vomica 6C after unsuccessful attempts in controlling bloated abdomen, constipation and burning hemmorhoids taking Ars Alb upto 1M. There is no meds which I was prescribed,Phosphorus 200C, Sulphur upto 10M, Nux Vomica 200C, Aloes Q, Podo 6C, Carbo Veg etc.

Now though the severe burning is cured, however after a successful bowel movement there is a burning pain for a few minutes but then subsides. After 3/4 times of bowel movement the energy levels are up and feel splendid. However come evening ie around 5.00 PM and later feel very hungry and being in an office, there is nothing to munch and suddenly I can feel severe hunger pangs and slowly air build up in the stomach. The abdomen gets bloated. On reaching home and trying to release the air, there is a possiblity of watery mucus being released. This has been going on for some time. Once or twice the bowel movement is watery mucuous and then it is semi hard stools.

Eating channa, samosas, any besan products vegetables having gastric properties creates severe bloating. At times there is severe flatulence.

Would really appreciate if somebody could really have a look into my problems. This has been going on for some time.

many thanks in adv.

Dear Dr Andres,

Many thanks for taking care of me also taking your time out to review my case. I am posting details. Hope they suffice. In case you need further details, do let me know. I would also be grateful if you could take care of me all the way and do not drop me in between like many of the other practitioners have been doing. It breaks the connectivity and again I am back to square one where it all started.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Mathew:
If you change your food habits, and eat with a bit relax and your diet is adecuated, a big part of your problems, surely pass away.
I have repertorized all your symptoms, and THUYA and LYCOPODIUM fits very well.
I propose as treatment:
1) THUYA 30c, three pellets, once one day in a week.
2) LYCOPODIUM 15c, three pellets the other days, better in bedding time.
Two remedies mustn't be taken in the same day.
After 15 days report. If you have some doubt, feel free to ask when you like.
Best wishes

Dear Mathew,
I went through all the detail and my opinion is stop all the homoeopathic medicine and continue the Nit acid 200c daily one dose for a week if there is any improvement you may have to continue this medicine till getting cure.

Respected Dr. Deoshlok:
I've read your prescription and I've revised Nitricum Acidum Materia Medica.
It's usual in homeopathy that two homeopaths repertorize the symptoms in a different way, inclusive they value the jerarchy or the symptoms in a different way. I respect your decission, but I can understand what of the symptoms have you repertorize.
Please, can you give me a chance to learn from you?
Kind regards
Andrés

I agree with the advise of dr. sharma in general. But suggest Nux-Vomica-200c at night one doze once a day which is so near to the symptoms of the patient.

Dear Dr Deoshlok Sharma,

First many thanks for suggesting Nitric Acid 200c for a week. After completing the meds for a week in 2 days time had a bout of severe diarrahea. Took a dose of Nitric Acid in the morning and night took a dose of Nux Vomica 200C. Got cleared the same day.

After it for almost 5 days bowel movement and generally was much better except knee pain and back pain ie at the right side of the base of the spine. The pains just tapered off slightly.

However from yesterday 15/04/07 i felt a bit flatulent and a bit bloated even though I had a good bowel movement.

I recalled you having mentioned that I would further need to take the medicine if there is improvement. I am certain that in the past 1 week I felt much much better. I owe this well being to you.

Would you pls advise me how to repeat Nitric Acid 200C.

Many thanks and regards

Mathew

Dear Dr Deoshlok Sharma,

Firstly I thank yu for the effort you have taken to prescribe me the medicines. I feel much better overall.

In between I had to take a dose of Nitric Acid. On two occasions I had bit my inside of the left cheek and once on the left side of the tongue. Other wise as of now, I do not have any problems.

When do I repeat the Nitric Acid? Any time frame?

Awaiting your advise.

Many thanks once again.
Thks are also due to Dr Andres and Dr Mahfooz for supporting Dr Deoshlok's prescription.
