I have been diagnosed with IBS for the past year or so. I have also had GERD problem for many years. I had angioplasty in 2003 which resulted in one stent in my heart. I take Plavix (75mg). toporol (25mg) and lipitor 20mg). I also take Prevadid or Priolosec on an as needed basis. about once a week or so. So far nothing I have taken for IBS has helped. The symptoms of IBS are frequent BM in the morning followed by tiredness and BM is usually preceded or followed by lightheadedness. My dies is normal Indian food, mostly rice (white)and vegetables. Recently I have tried Fibercon which seems to have helped. I am willinig to try Homeopathic medicine now.

For ibs and gerd we have a very good treatment.
you can try the following prescription

1. Sulpher 200 early in the morning empty stomach
2. Nux vomica 200 daily one dose at evening.

continue for a month and report me. avoid spices and milk, bread

advise to take rice and curd only till get cured.
