Please help with case of mononucleosis causing severe pain

Hi,

I am a female college student living in the U.S., with a very active lifestyle, competing in gymnastics. My health is normally very well, with occasional sinus infections, which are normally helped by taking Silicea 30c., and some overuse injuries from gymnastics.

I will start by describing the beginning of my symptoms.
Starting on Monday last week, I was feeling very tired even though I was getting more sleep than normal, I kept having this same feeling of tiredness throughout the week. On Fri. I went home for spring break, I started running fever during practice at the gym.

I don’t like, and normally don’t react well to allopathic medications, at this point I thought I had a sinus infection and was taking Silicea 30c. I thought getting a few nights of well rest would make me feel a lot better.

Sat. I noticed the area underneath my left eye was puffy, and underneath both eyes were discolored. My muscles started feeling very tight and stiff. My lymph nodes in the area beneath my ears, under my jaw, and in different areas around my throat and back of my neck were severely swollen and painful. I continued to have fever, and started having headaches. While in bed, I was tired to the point where I fell asleep for over an hour while waiting for someone to reply while we were typing back and forth talking over the internet.

Sunday I got 15 hrs. of sleep, but did not feel any better, my fever was constant, and the swelling and pain in my neck from my lymph nodes had worsened. The swelling is noticeable even from a few feet distance. I did not even have enough energy to take a shower, all I did was stay in bed. I stopped Silicea at this point having taken it for three days, and not showing any improvements. Because I was feeling worse, and still running fever I went to a med clinic in town. They said tonsillitis, and prescribed an antibiotic, and decadron a steroid.

Monday, which was a week from when my symptoms of tiredness started, I woke up at 11am was able to take one antibiotic, felt good enough to take a shower, but then felt really exhausted and I went back to sleep at 2pm, until I was woken by my phone ringing at 7pm. The area beneath my eye was still puffy and I was feeling a great amount of pain from headaches. The area of my neck where my lymph nodes are, was still very swollen and had become more painful; the pain was constant, and worse with movement and even the slightest touch. My fever was still present and had risen to above 102. I started crying and I couldn’t stop myself from continuing to cry. I had someone drive me to the hospital, where I waited for 4 hrs. to be seen and I started crying again while in the waiting room.
When I was seen, I was then tested for mononucleosis, which was positive. I was giving an IV for dehydration along with Toradal, Dicadion, Dilandin, and Pheregen. After being given those, my pain with headaches and in the area of my neck around my lymph nodes was greatly reduced, and my fever started dropping.

On Tuesday I woke up at about 2pm, the area beneath both my eyes were puffy and both discolored. I had some pain from headache, but not nearly as bad, and some pain only with touch to the swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I was feeling very tired still, but I needed to get some groceries, I had someone else drive, since I wasn’t feeling well enough to drive myself, I felt to the point of not being safe. While in the check out lane in the store I started feeling so tired and so much despair, that I burst out into tears. Later in the day while talking with some friends I couldn’t control crying again.
Late Tues. my fever stopped and my temperature was 98.5 a really great improvement.

These are my symptoms currently.
Today which is Wednesday, I woke up and I have painful headaches again, and pain in every place where my lymph nodes are swollen, it is very painful again and again even with the slightest touch. My throat is swollen so that it is difficult when eating, drinking, and talking. It is also painful when swallowing.

For my mental picture
My feeling right now mentally is terrible, I like being active and doing things, and right now I shouldn’t and can’t. I just don’t have the energy. I want to do something, but when I think about it, I know I don’t feel well enough. I don’t even have the energy to do reading that was assigned to me by my professor, thinking about doing it makes my heart rate increase because I feel bad and worried that I can’t do it, and it makes me feel even more tired. I can’t help over the past few days uncontrollably crying, I feel so tired, and sad, and feel a great deal of despair. I feel even more like crying after I do something that required energy. It has been hard for me to smile, when I am in completely good health I am always smiling and laughing and I always have a positive outlook on things, and am always doing something to be active, playing sports, exercising to stay healthy, stretching, reading, talking with friends, doing things with friends, anything fun.

For my physical picture
I believe that my temperature is still normal.
The puffiness and discoloration beneath both my eyes is still present.
My muscles are still very tight and stiff.
My pain from headaches are mostly in the temples on both sides of my head. Sometimes pulsating, but more often just a dull constant pain. It is worse when touched, but with increased pressure and rubbing feels better.
My feeling in the areas of my neck where the lymph nodes are swollen, is very painful. It continually hurts, probably hurts again because the drugs that were given to me in the hospital have worn off. I haven’t noticed any decrease in the swelling, so the areas are all still very large and noticeable from a few feet distance. I haven’t found anything to be relieving to this pain and swelling.

I have started taking China Officinalis 30c.
Please, I really feel so terrible mentally and physically. With mono, even if I wanted allopathic treatment, which I don’t, it isn’t offered, the only thing offered by doctors is them telling me to get rest and the doctor at the hospital gave me hydrocodone in liquid form for pain. I will continue to get rest. Recovery time for mono can be 2-8 weeks with no homeopathic treatments. Please I feel like I need so much help with this case I have with mono, I would absolutely love a fast recovery.

Thank you and blessings to all,

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
when swelling and pain increases, you can take BELADONNA 30C doses every 3 to 4 hours till the pain and swelling persist.

for long term relief, take PULSATILLA 200C every 4 to 6 hours ( 6 doses max. )

stop china.

Do I need to wait between my last dose of China and the Beladonna and Pulsatilla so as to prevent aggrevation? If so how long?

Or do I just not take them together?

Thank you, best wishes
