help needed for my baby

Hi I have a little 5 month old baby who is underweight and has feeding issues. I would grealty appreciate if somebody can help us and share any ideas if they have been through this.
She was born at 37 weeks and was only 4.5 pounds. She had a lot of colic and spasms when little after feeding and would vomit a lot. She would vomit 2-3 times a day and all the feed was vomitted. however she was growing okay and suddenly at 3.5 months she devloped feeding aversion and suddenly refused to drink milk . It initially was not so bad and then progressed to a situation we had to admit her in the hospital for a day. They kept her under observation and the doctors felt it was reflux leading to pain causing the aversion to feeding or due to milk allergy. So to be on the safe side we had ot give her hypoallergenic formula and prevacid for reflux treating both the causes at he same time. They said they cannot diagnose exactly the cause.
her vomitting gradually decreased but feeding aversion still persists. We feed her in her sleep, timing all her feeds with her sleep. She is a happy child otherwise and plays and interacts well. however is not gaining weight and gains a few ounces every 2 weeks , she is still on 3rd percentile. She weighs 11.5 pounds and is 5 mts old. She takes only 3 ounces of milk and we feed whenever we can (3 hrly) Soemitmes takes only 2 ounces. We get up 3 tiems at night to feed her so she gets her nutrition but are so worried with all this. if we try to feed her when awake she fights and yells and cries a lot pushing hte nipple out of her mouth. If we force still more then she spits the milk in her mouth and will keep crying till she is tired an will fall asleep. We have tried so much and have been unsucessful. She like her pacifier and doesnt mind sucking on that.
Please advise and i would be grateful ot any help given on this forum.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
i'm not an expert on homeopathy, but we definately used a local homeoapth (and the people here) for both of my children! I hear your frustration and worry. As a mom of 2 young ones myself I know how hard this can be, looking for info for your little ones. try a local La Leche League chapter or call their national office- they have awesome advice. Also you could call Nationally known Dr. Newman in Toronto, he's THE breastfeeding / healthy baby MD GURU - seriously, the Holistic Moms Network online (google them) to see if there is a chapter near you, Dr. Lendon Smith's books are AWESOME if you can get ahold of them (I got all mine used at Abes books online)- he wrote tonnes of books and he talks about deficiencies even in babies. As a nursing mom, I gave up ALL dairy and wheat and sugar and chocolate for 5 yrs (ok well a little chocolate after they were older-).

Also my now 2 yr old- I noticed when she was 3 wks old I ate eggs that morning- she spit up and screamed like crazy for 8 hrs. I did not eat eggs for another 2 weeks and then did it for confirmation. I had to avoid eggs completely while nursing as well as many many other things. Good news is that we have slowly built up hers and my immune system and she is fine with eggs now. If I avoided the offending foods, she was the happiest baby and had awesome body function... The #1 thing we did for both kids was find a reputable brand of baby acidophilous - dariy and casein free!!! Genestra/SEroyal is a good brand.

both my kids were tiny, my 5.5 yr old still is and so was my daughter. then I found out about zinc being the #1 growth stunter (among other things) and how deficient it is in our diets and foods and soils. we got ahold of msbplus v7 vitamins from wellnesshospital.com which can be given to babies as young as 3 months and my kids are growing in leaps and bounds. when my dd was 7 months old we had a hair analysis done and determined that she was VERY nutrient deffient and loaded with heavy metals DESPITE not being vaxed and me eating a complete whole foods diet with no junk. So was her brother btw. We've also had electrodermal testing done to determine their sensitivities to foods and the environment. this way we can eliminate the worst offenders for awhile while they get stronger.

anyhow, my point to all this is homeopathy is invaluable and with the right remedy can heal the body. However since I noticed no one had responded yet, and I was heading to bed, I thought I'd toss in my 2 cents. I have an online holistic parenting group for our province here in ontario canada with 250 members and we hear situations like this all the time. Sometimes it takes a multitude of approaches to bring the fastest recovery. and sometimes.... it justhelps to talk with other moms in the same boat. ;-)

hang in there.

warmly

If there is no phthisis family history then please start with silicia-6x.

Dear Rachana

Take this as second opinion:

Give your child Aethusa 30(not exceeding 4 doses distributed over 2 days) and see if it helps.
