FilariaFilaria is a long, thread-like roundworm called Wuchereria Bancrofti that lives as a parasite in the bodies of human beings and animals. The male worm is shorter than the female and it has a curved tail. This is mainly found in Central Africa, Asia and the Southwest Pacific
How do people get afflicted with filaria?
The young worms can be seen in the blood near the body surface of the host or the animal in which the larvae live. When a mosquito bites an infected person at night, it takes up the larvae with the blood. These larvae develop in the mosquito, near the mouth. Then when the insect bites a man or another animal the larvae enter the wound and infect a new host.
Sign & symptoms of filaria
The adult worms live in the lymph - a body fluid. When the worms block the flow of lymph, a disease called Elephantiasis results. This disease is characterised by severe swelling of the limbs, usually the legs. Sometimes it even can affect the breast or the scrotum.
This gross swelling in the legs and other parts of the body and the thickening of the skin due to blockage of the vessels of the lymphatic system is called Elephantiasis
Homeopathic Treatment of Filaria
While medicines are available to treat filaria, the gross swelling of the leg makes a person look noticeable and ugly. Hence, it is better to protect oneself from the bites of filaria mosquitoes. Use aerosols, mosquito repellenets, creams, mats coils, nets and prevent breeding of mosquitoes with better practice of hygiene and sanitation.

My mother is suffering from filaria for last 15 mths. in lower part of right leg.
SYMPTOMS:
heavy swelling,pain,with reddish skin for 5 days with high fever & headache.
afterwards swelling,thickening of skin with otburst of pus through fissures & discharge of yellowish water like substance.
after three mths. swelling and pain persists with thick, dry and dark skin.
No change in symptoms since 5 mths.

Filaria is major health problem.If untreated or mistreated,it causes various complications that leads to death.So don't neglect the filaria case.Alopathicathic treatment Inj. sodium stibogloconate can cure filariasis permanently.I know merc sulph can cure filriasis.But it requires long period.At that time patient'phycal condition will be dangerous.So i think allopathic treatment for filariasis is more safe and potent than homeopathy.Thanks.

My mom is suffering from Elephantiasis from last 17 years. Her left leg is swelled by few inches up to knee. I have attached the images of the affected leg. She feel pain and uneasiness several times on busy days.

dear sir, i am a little confused. 1 dose merc sulph 10m in 1 week ... does this mean i full tube of granules in 1 week ?

He means:
If drops take 2 drops in a couple tablespoons of water, stir then sip.
If pills dissolve 3 pills in two tablespoons of water and stir then sip
Do not do this more than 4 times. One dose a week, for 4 weeks.
Sometimes homeopathic remedies are sold in what is called a 'unit' dose
that is very tiny pin head size grains in a half inch tube. You probably do
not have that- so just take the granules ( 3) and put in the water.
If you have questions , you have to call his mobile number bc he does not
come onto the forum very often.

Respected Dr.,myself self Surendra Sahai Saxena,male aged 80years is suffering from Filaria in testes since long,but didn't pay any attention as it was not troubling me.Now my scrotum has been enlarged and rubbing between the thighs.On your advise to someone else in this forum,I have already taken three doses,one dose per week of Mercurius Solubilis(changed name of Mercurius Sulphuricus) but I don't feel any appreciable change in my scrotum.Should I take only remaining one dose or continue the doses further.Your early and valuable advise shall be highly solicited.

My mother is suffering from this from last 15 years. It started on her left leg but now she has got on her left hand also.
It worsen in cold, it reduces if she is on fasting and in the morning. Because of this she does not eat cold food like papaya, curd etc.
She has full body pain and feels so tired.
Please help on this
