Advice on Tuberculinum please.

Hello, I would welcome any advice you have to offer on our problem.
My young son was given a dose of tuberculinum by a homeopath last year; since then-it seems-he has been ill.

I would welcome some advice and guidance on understanding whether it is possible that a remedy can cause an illness? The morning after taking the tuberculinum he woke with a cold and congested chest; this lingered for a number of weeks. A different homeopath suggested that his immune system wasn't 'ready' for the tuberculinum remedy; could this be the case?

If it is possible that a remedy could cause my son to become so ill (he is still ill; he cannot seem to shift whatever is lying inside him) then how can I help him and fix it?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

I would say it is certainly *possible* (i.e. not necessarily true in this particular case) that the Tub. provoked a latent disease in your son. That would prove that the remedy was well-indicated - but the homeopath should have been able to resolve your son's present state (i.e. shift it).

Please, go see a homeopath - possibly a different one. He/she MIGHT (or might not) give him Thuja - or something else, of course.

There is no need to despair - but do get good professional help.
