Dear elaine

It seems its Umbilical hernia. Get Nux vomica in 30 potency. Take one dose daily in the night for a week. Observe if it helps after a week.

Its best to keep the parts bathed in cold water morning and evening. Avoid heavy physical work. Consult your physician if you can have truss.

Hi elaine

Since you have this lump near bellybutton, its most likely umbilical type. If you had the swelling near groin region the type would've been different.

Hi Maheera
The lump is halfway between my bellybutton and pubic region and to the left handside

Just wondering Maheera if it makes a difference if the hernia is actually on the bowel, it hasn't pushed to the surface of the abdomen

Hello Elaine

Well, Following protocol is good irrespective of the rupture towards the surface or inside the surface.

Take sulphur 30 in the morning for 4 consecutive days. Take Nux vomica 30 in the night for next 4 consecutive nights. Then observe next 8 days without taking the remedy then report.

Have aconite in your kitty, take it only if pain becomes acute every half an hour till you get relief.

Hi Maheeru
I'll just start the remedies you suggested and if you think i should stop them because of the ongoing problems with hair loss etc will you let me know.

Thanks

Hello elaine

The above remedies are best indicated for hernias. Probably they may affect your ongoing problems(skin eruptions, hair loss) in a positive way. Any way in mid course refrain from using any other remedy.
