High Fever and Cough
What are the best medicine to give in the following condition ?Fever starts with chill in the hands and feet.
High fever about 103-102
Slight Cough
Expectoration seems stuck in the throat; cannot take it out.
Fast pulse
During fever, feeling of heat in the body but more in the face and hands.
Thirs is normal.
Eyes burn during fever.
Pain in the forehead only on closing the eyes.
I have give rhus tox (some imporovement), ars alb (not much improvement) and am now planning to give Sulphur 200 together with pyrogen 30.

I agree with your recent choice but it should be given in the following sequance:-
Pyrogenium- 200 one dose at start then
Sulph+Bell 30 thrice a day

I did start on Pyrogenium 200 and there is some improvement.
We have an epidemic going around of this same infection which starts with chill, affects the throat, sligh cough, high fever. The expectoration in the cough is of clear, frothy mucous, in some cases sticky. I suffered from the same.. but had to resort to antibiotics since no remedy was working. At last, noting the stickness of the mucous in the throat, i was able to select cocculus cactii which cleared my symptoms of expectoration.

Alhamdulillah .. fever is very much under control. There was a lot of coughing with expectoration stuck in the throat feeling. I gave one dose of Kali Carb 30. The cough has decreased.
