Stomach Flu..., Please help.
My daughter who is 5 yrs old is having stomach flu.Yesterday afternoon it started with headache and cough. She ate little bit and went to school at 12.30 noon.
After coming home she felt headache again and didn't want to eat anything and went to sleep by 5.30 in the evening she woke up at 7.30 in the evening and felt nausea and vomited only watery phlem.
After that she felt relief and felt nausea again. After 10 min she vomited little bit phlem again. She felt better immediately after that.
She was fine in the night she ate little bit rice with rasam(soup) and went to sleep at 10.00 PM.
But at 2 AM she woke up again with moderate fever, nausea , cough and nasal congestion.
She is getting ocational headache also. She is feeling hot. she had thist for small sips of cold water.
Can somebody help?

Sounds like arsenicum album. You could try that unless someone has a better idea.

I gave 1 dose of Ars albm 30 and then thought this is wrong medicine because she is feeling hot. and no diarrhea only Nausea. From yeater day night to now she vomited only 4 times which is 2 tb sp of fluid. She is not vomiting any food that she ate and she has constant nausea.
The main concern now is fever and nausea.
I tried Ipecac 30 , 4 times in gap of one hour and it gives only relief. That is when she is struggling to vomit i gave her Ipecac and she stopped with immediate releif. But nausea is returning back. and she is very sleepy . If she wakes up for half an hour, she sleeps for one hour. In the middle of sleep she is saying my tummy doen't feel good and moaning.
I gave her Ferrum phos 30 also in between for fever. But no use.
Please somebody help.

Do any of these sound right? It is a listing for influenza, but some of them include a GI component.

Ferrum phos I usually think of for the very beginning stages. She may be too far along.
Ipecac is for constant nausea. Be careful you don't give her too much or there is a possibility of an aggravation.

anon, does this sound familiar? Might not translate to a young child but it accounts for the nausea.

Thanks for all who tried to help me. Yes there is viral flu, going on here in northen California.
She is off with fever and nausea. Now only problem she has is cough, cold and sneezing.
Is there any remedy for this after flu?

Her symptoms are cough with little expectoration (she has to sit up to cough at night), and cold (white discharge) ans nasal congestion. and chest congestion.
While coughing she seems like she is going to vomit.

I gave her one dose of Bryonia 30 . She slept after that and got up and cried that she has headache, I was getting worried that 'Why gave her Bryonia' since bryonia is for headache also.
But after some time she slept again and didn't even cough in sleep.
Yesterday night she slept peacefully without cough. And no cough from then (may be little but not much.)
