Fragaria and teeth

Hi I was wondering if any one can help me. I have been told about Fragaria and how it helps soften the plaque on a dogs teeth but I was wondering what strength of tablet I need to use. I have a golden Retriever and she weighs about 32kg the lady who told me has a tiny maltese terrier and it must weigh about 4-6kg she was told to give her terrier 6c.

Any anyone any ideas on what strength my dog should have.

Many thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The size of the dog isn't relevant.

The advice I have seen is 6c daily for a month and then once a week.

As you mentioned, it should help soften the tartar, but you probably still need either to brush her teeth or provide some other means that she can clean them herself. If you can work her onto a proper raw diet that would help. (Get off kibble, it's really bad for them and promotes the dental disease.) If she is accepting of raw (that means whole meats, not ground, plus bone in suitable proportions plus maybe some supplements but NO grains) that should take care of the tartar and you won't need fragaria.

Many thanks for your information I will look into it. Being a golden retriever she has a very delicate stomach and cannot tolerate many foods but I will give it a go and try and find her a better diet.

If you can wean her onto a species appropriate diet (carnivorous) you may find that some of her chronic problems go away.
