Shingles - please help

Hi,
I think I have shingles. I am sort of confused as to how I got it because My dad had it and i was exposed without knowing he had it. My kids were the ones I was worried about because they've never had chicken pox.

My 2 year old has been sick with vomiting, swollen lymph nodes, fever & stuffy nose.

My 4 month old has a bit of a stuffy nose. I just have a sore throat and one lesion.

What are the best treatments for this?

Should I try to let my kids get it? My 2 year old was vaccinated for it but I am not vaxing my new baby.

I'm breastfeeding & normally don't take any meds except homeopathic & herbals or vitamins. Should I avoid the antiviral medications?

If I shouldn't try to let my kids get it what should I do to protect them from it?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Variolinum in 200 potency is a good prophylactic as well as a good remedy for shingles' cure.
