cavities for my two year old

My two year old has several small black spots on the inside of his teeth as well as a very large on on the inside upper left side. I have absolutely exhausted my resources and my local homeopath would rather not do 'acute' cases. I've looked in the materia medica and reperatory yet still can't seem to find the perfect remedy. Can someone please help because my dentist said the only option is to put him to sleep and fill them with a 'safe composite'. Isthis really the only option or has anyone stopped the infection and grew back new tooth matter? I've considered remineralizing but that would be so invasive for him. Thank you so much for your time!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
some indicated remedies are FLUORIC ACID, KREOSOTUM, CALC PHOS, CALC CARB etc. you can choose any one of these based on his other symptoms and the modalities of this symptom.

if you can give him CALC PHOS 200C one dose every week for a month or so, he is certainly going to get benifited.

Kreosotum most suited when teeth become black in children.

Dental caries cannot be reversed. The enamel and dentine of the tooth has been eaten by the disease, and will not regrow under any circumstances. It is also highly unlikely that it can be stopped once started - it will only get worse from here unless eliminated properly.

However you need not worry too much. Baby teeth have no internal blood vessels or nerves, so there will be little or no pain from the tooth itself. It only gets serious if the infection spreads to the gums.

It is recommended that you do get a safe composite filling put in. This is basically a ceramic and epoxy mix that is hardened by UV light to form a compound that is as hard as dental enamel. It looks a bit like PVA glue - white just like a real tooth! There is no metal involved, so no 'fillings' of the objectionable kind.

But prior to this, the affected area must be removed leaving a clean cavity - that is what the drilling is for. And the only reason to put the child to sleep is to make it comfortable for him - two year olds get scared VERY easily. But this would be only for a few minutes - that is all it would take to clean the cavities and fill them.

However this will all be temporary anyway. When the child is about 5 or 6, the adult teeth will come through and these teeth will fall out! Hopefully by then, good dental hygiene practices for the child will mean no more cavities ever!
